To all those who feel they have nothing to live for
Let it be known right here, right now and all kinds of people, young and old, rich or poor, have a right to a happy life.
Nobody, absolutely nobody, can make you unhappy once you have decided to be glad to be alive for absolutely no reason at all.
If you are feeling depressed, go to the hospital ward of terminal cases, and look around. Those people have got more reasons than you can count on all your fingers why they are glad to leave this planet.
If you have money problems, well, tell me and the rest of the impoverished crowd something new. All of us experience money woes at certain times of our lives. Some of us, all the time, except we don't go banging our heads against the wall.
Be glad you have problems. The only people who no longer experience earthly problems are residing in the cemetery right now.
So there you go. You have everything to live for. Live and drink from all the 60 seconds of every minute that you are entitled to. Every morning when the sun comes up, you get another chance to be renewed, to begin afresh.
Life is not a crap shoot. It is decided by the person who feels he wants to live it up. So much can change from one single thought. Tell yourself, "yeah, this is my moment, and I want the best of every moment of every single day of my life from now on!"
Sometimes, it seems irrational to tell yourself that you will do better when you have tattered clothes and your family have just abandoned you. So?! Others have experienced worse.
There are scores who have lost their entire families in disasters, whether natural or unnatural. Be glad you are still breathing. Fight, fight for your right to be happy.
Once you have achieved that, pull the other depressed ones along with you on that happy path. No, don't suggest that they smoke strange weeds. That is a cop-out.
Just go for the top prize. It sounds corny even to suggest it but nobody has a better chance at achieving something than you. You don't live other people's lives, you live your own.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself and get on with life. It awaits you right now. Good luck!

Prayers for victims of Typhoon Krosa
About 1.4 million people in Eastern China have been evacuated. Typhoon Krosa has wreaked havoc on buildings and people in its relentless path.
May these people find the help they need in their hour desperation. Flood waters and other natural disasters that follow in the wake of any typhoon are bound to exact a high price on the human population.
Nature can do its worst, humans must rise to the occasion and extend a big helping hand to all brethern who so need help.

For the people in Myanmar
For weeks now, we have heard, read and seen the images of monks and the general population in Myanmar (Burma) protesting and later suffering for their protests on the streets in the capital Yangon.
Burma is now vacillitating in a state of unrest and labouring in uncertainty. Generally, its people are frightened, angry and frustrated.
It has been decades since they have experienced democracy. Many in the country have grown up not knowing any form of goverment except the present one.
Their lives have not been easy under the military regime. We pray that one day soon, the people of Burma will welcome the fresh air of democracy and the joy that will surely accompany political freedom.
Meanwhile, these people who were brave enough to march in the streets to express their feelings are watching with some trepidation as to what the next course of action they should take.
We are with them in spirit and send
