For the flood victims in parts of China
It has come to my attention that in certain parts of China, severe drought and extreme flooding have caused untold misery to about a million people.
Even though a million does not account for much in a nation of 1.5 billion people, still, these are human lives. They are people with families and can suffer with just as much pain and sorrow as you and I.
We pray for these unfortunate victims of natural disasters that now are sweeping across parts of China.
May the victims' woes be eased swiftly and may they return to normal living in the short weeks ahead.
